Whites
Domaine Preignes le Neuf Viognier 2019
£8.95 inc VAT per bottle
Lovely balance between the ripe, floral character of the Viognier grape and the freshness of early picking and stainless steel fermentation.
Château de la Bonnelière Chinon Blanc 2018
£12.95 inc VAT per bottle
Racy, almost chalky wine which sits somewhere between Chablis and Vouvray in style.
Domaine de l’Ermitage Menetou-Salon 2017
£13.35 inc VAT per bottle
This sister appellation of Sancerre produces similar wines yet offers the value of a more obscure name. Everything is done by hand at this small domaine to produce this classic Loire Sauvignon.
Domaine Buisson-Battault Aligoté 2017
£13.60 inc VAT per bottle
Old vines and low yields are the key to high quality aligoté. Francois’ oldest vines are over 80-years and produce an electrically refreshing wine which clearly shows Burgundy’s limestone soils.
Rosé
Domaine Saint André de Figuière Méditerranée Rosé 2019
£11.95 inc VAT per bottle
This has been our biggest selling rosé of the year. No surprise, it is utterly classic and wonderfully thirst quenching. Bring Provence to you this summer.
Reds
Domaine Preignes le Neuf Cuvée Garrigue Rouge 2018
£7.95 inc VAT per bottle
This blend of southern french and Bordeaux varieties from the excellent 2018 vintage is lovely chilled, focussing its juicy, primary fruit.
Santa Duc Côtes-du-Rhône Vieilles Vignes 2016
£11.95 inc VAT per bottle
Such a versatile wine – rich in the winter, chill it now to see a more restrained, refreshing side to its character.
Château Langlet Rouge 2016, Graves
£12.50 inc VAT per bottle
When young, Graves from a fruit filled vintage with ripe tannins, like 2016, takes a chill wonderfully. 80% merlot gives texture while 20 minutes in the fridge will emphasise its dark cassis fruit.
Château de la Bonnelière Chinon Clos de la Bonnelière 2016
£12.95 inc VAT per bottle
35-year-old vines planted on clay and limestone give an elegant, concentrated wine. Well balanced ripe fruit, juicy acidity and Cabernet Franc’s hallmark sappy note make this ideal for drinking chilled.
