Description
One of Silvia’s favourite whites, full stop, and a wine which she always had on the lists of the restaurants she worked in. When we tasted it, we knew straight away we would be listing it too! A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay, matured in a mixture of stainless steel and 20% large wooden barrels. The Sauvignon shows on the nose, adding fresh green fruits to the richer, softer perfume of ripe melons and apple. Mouth-filling, textured and ripe on the palate, this weight is beautifully carried by its cut and structure. Really long finish, with an impression of citrus skins and a little grip. Beautiful wine, very fine.

“As a producer Cantina Terlano is widely respected as producing amazing quality wines consistently. But what I love about the wines is that they seem to make grape varietals normally associated with quite simple wines into something altogether more serious through clever wine making. Truly amazing with food due to the texture and complexity but remains true to the area of Alto Adige maintain that racy acidity and tensity in the wines.”
