These inspirational wines form the Langedoc are deeply coloured made from a blend of varieties including Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. They have a hint of the mystic east with aromas of oriental spices and musk, infused with more local wild herbs. The palates are an elixir of brooding, super-ripe blackberry, lifted with a delicate minerality from the limestone-clay soil. Harmonious and with silky tannins they provides a perfect foil for red meat and game. The 'Une et Mille Nuits' even gets a mention in a Prix Goncourt winner, the French version of Mann Booker.
